Annual Festival of Fine Arts - The Association has sponsored this since 1956. It displays juried and non-juried art from both adults and youth. The show will be open to members and non-members. The works displayed may be offered for sale. The festival will include demonstrations by member artists. It is held on the grounds of our city’s historic Casa Peralta at 384 W. Annual Spring and Fall Members Exhibition at the San Leandro Main Library, 300 W. Estudillo Ave., San Leandro, CA/ Works shown in Theater Atrium. Open to the public.
Group Field Trips - To galleries and museums to view special shows in our area.
Demonstrations - By professional artists at each of our monthly meetings. These are open to the community.
Monthly Meeting Art Competition - Members bring their latest art work to the general meeting. Other members vote on their favorite work during the social period and winner receives an award.
School Contributions - through the Dorothy Cunningham Memorial Fund, SLAA sponsors art work in the local schools.
Revolving Gallery - Members display their works in local businesses.
Monthly Newsletter - This publication keeps members aware or upcoming shows in San Leandro and area Art Associations. It includes minutes from general meetings and profiles of artist demonstrators.
